Requirements
- Dampen noise and vibration generated by providing a cushion between the lighting fixture and its mount.

Electrical enclosure gaskets
Requirements
- Dampen vibration transmitted from the train body to the enclosure to prevent rattling of electrical components inside the enclosure
- Good dielectric properties and EMI shielding as required

HVAC seals & gaskets
Requirements
- Provide a tight seal between the HVAC components

Equipment mounting gaskets
Requirements
- Dampen or isolate vibration transmitted from the train body to the equipment to prevent damage to the equipment
